Our dreams, our fears, our stories — all unfold between the concious and the subconsious — the oilpaint and the inks. This series is unfolding itself by taking you into your wildest dreams and your inner desires put on canvas paper.
Rorschach is the first collection of 10 original paper works on canvas paper for an affordable price. The work is combining my realistic fragmented portraits with the abstraction of black ink and oil pastels.
The collection is only available for collectors and is sold directly from me as the artists via my website no galleries, no agencies - no commissions

Inspired by the picture of a protestor in Teheran (Iran) sitting in his chair while the chaos around him continues the work is asking how do we deal with our priviliged role in this current world full of conflicts and cruelty. Sitting safe at home with our mobile in our hands swiping through the unexplainable in social media. We consume the cruelties of this world like a cat video and slowly become numb and it is better to be silent than to raise our voices. Maybe it is time to change to be active and use the priviliges we got.

Freud and Rorschach have many things in common they both believe that we have hidden desires and emotions which we try to hide even from ourselves. Both try to get to the deeper psych of the human and wanted to uncover where we are censoring ourselves.

Tranquillo centers around the feeling of being spleepy in winter and especially “surviving” winter in grey Berlin and the hope for spring coming soon emphasized with the bold blue and pink oil pastel marks.

Insomnia is the artwork which started the whole series, born in a sleepless night when I just out of curiosity spilled some ink on my canvas paper and let it flow. The next day I painter my typical fragments over it with my oils and the day after I put some abstract oil pastels on it and I did it again and again until I had 10 pieces
