Inspired by the detention picture of 5 years old Liam Ramos by the ICE in the US i felt strongly reminded on the book of Anne Frank which I read in school. “There are bad people outside….” To see history repeating itself and the strong raise of racism and facism in the world feels like the worse nightmares of humanity coming back over and over again. This work is about the nightmares and fears many immigrants face in the US right now.
The paper work is part of the Rorschach Series experiencing our common emotions, stories and traumas visualized in my abstract works which combine the fluidity of ink and oil pastels with my realistic fragments telling the story in oils.
