From the beginning of my art journey blue, especially the bold ultramarine or cobalt, was always a color which fascinated me. It is the color to challenge normative as it was mainly used by artists like Picasso and Yves Klein to communicate a strong masculinity which even now is inhabited in our culture (Blue the color associated with boys) and more recently German right wing politicians use blue hearts to spread fear and hate across social media.
